We set out to be different, here’s how.
-
Lowe Academy began growing rapidly by word of mouth from families that love our teaching.
-
We cut out the “middle man”, making most of our lessons run at nearly half the price of most music schools on the East Coast of the United States.
-
We do not annually raise our rates.
-
We are not a “teaching factory.” We heavily invest in talented committed students, some of which never had the opportunity to receive private lessons in their geographic area. Our online students have won numerous competitive awards, auditions, concerto opportunities and have played in some of the worlds most prestigious concert halls.

Lesson Curriculum
Our lessons are tailored to students individual needs, with students usually learning from a combination of the following curriculum.
Individually Curated
All students are offered a variety of music to suit their interests. From previously unknown composers to your favorite pop songs. Less experienced students will have extra music sent to them to subsidize the track they are on. More experienced students may be on a track carefully curated by their teacher to meet their skill level and interests. We also offer coaching on orchestra and audition repertoire.
Suzuki School
In need of little introduction the Suzuki school (available for all instruments) is by far the most popular curriculum in the United States.
ABRSM/ Trinity College
ABRSM and Trinity College both offer a series of exams in all instruments. This path is not more technically demanding than Suzuki but may require a greater level of commitment. ABRSM exams also test skills that may otherwise be neglected such as; aural skills, theory skills and sight reading.
